Painting to Raise Funds

Zoos use training, painting and other activities as part of a comprehensive enrichment program for elephants. Enrichment is believed to help animals behave more naturally or to provide them with mental stimulation. Elephants both in the wild and captivity have been seen to "draw in the sand" with their trunks and so it was not such a big stretch to give them a paint brush. It is truly intended to add enjoyment to their lives.more painting of elephant
